I have used this on my Sony a-900 and a-700 cameras as well as a Minolta 7D and it works perfectly. *NOTE* I cannot speak for other models. It also Slides into the viewfinder window on Minolta SRT and similar vintage film cameras. High quality metal construction.
Locks at right angles for both horizontal and vertical viewing. Made in Japan. Used, shows only light wear.
