    Description

    You're looking at a Horizon 8x magnification focusing loupe (or lupe) made by KMZ which I believe is (was?) a Russian company. It's a pretty nice quality plastic lupe with some focus adjustment and millimeter and centimeter markings around the edge that touches your slides negatives, contact sheet or whatever you're viewing. It is designed to cover a 26mm x 36mm area.
    This is one of several loupes that I've had for years and was a favorite for viewing 35mm proof sheets because of its shape and the 8x magnification factor. I'm clearing out excess stuff from 40+ years of photography and am trying to pare down some of the excess things that have accumulated.
