2 killed in clash between AL men and protesters in Munshiganj

At least two persons were killed and 20 others injured in a clash between protestors and Awami League men in Munshiganj town this morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The clash broke out around 10:45am near Super Market area.
Abu Hena Mohammad Jamal, superintendent of Munshiganj General Hospital, said two persons were brought dead and many other injured are being treated at the hospital.
The doctors however could not say immediately about the nature of the injuries of the victims.
Khairul Hasan, additional superintendent of Police in Munshiganj, said he was unaware of the casualty.
Police did not open fire or apply force, he said.
